The design of satellite broadband Internet modem IC cores of course in mainly about the modulation and demodulation technologies in its general terms. This is the area of my key concentration, and will be my lifetime study focus as well.

There are tremendous amount of technologies and schemes involved in the design of different types of modulators and demodulators or socalled modems, depending on the applications environment and also evolving over time. Which kinds of modulation/demodulation to choose is not a simple task, depending on the resources you have on hand, such as the communication systems you're going to serve, the communications standards etc.
