World IC Development Reporting (WIDeR)

reports_world

The monthly World IC Development Reporting (WIDeR) is a comprehensive and timely coverage of all major development of the worldwide IC - Integrated Circuits - sectors, including the new generations of IC technologies such as quantum chips, graphe based circuits as well as traditional silicon based ICs. The reports cover mostly issues very criticial to the development of IC technologies such as architecture, research and development of core devices and components, technology and manufacturiing, design and packaging. The reports are based on my own observations of the semiconductor industry during my hobby time as a IC designer.

The monthly World IC Development Reporting (WIDeR) is a comprehensive and timely coverage of all major development of the worldwide IC - Integrated Circuits - sectors, incl.

industry and manufacturing,

technology,

packaging,

research and development,

design,

investment,

trade and commerce,

markets,

and several other critical issues.

The reports focus more on academic and research activities for the next generations of IC technologies, incl. but not limited to the following:

NOC- Network-on-chip (noc)
OCN - on-chip networks
POC - Process on-chip
PSOC - programmable system-on-chip
SOC - system-on-chip
SOI - silicon-on-insulator
SOP - system-on-package
SOPC - system-on-a-programmable chip

etc.
