Online Marketing in China

China has the largest Internet population with more than 600 millions, and Internet marketing accounts to about 9 % of the total marketing expenditures and thus Internet has become the major source of information and shopping places, particularly for those living in cities and with better education and incomes. Online purchase has also become part of the life of this population. According to a survey, about half of their daily purchase are done online. People know the brands and names from the websites, learn their features and prices, before rushing for a purchase either in a real-world shop or online. Therefore, to make your products known to Chinese consumers, it is indispensable that you create your presence in Chinese websites, and promote your products online.

But the question will naturally raise:

How to make your name known to Chinese cunsumers ?

Traditionally a business would setup a marketing/sales office in China's main commercial centers (e.g. Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou) to gain access to Chinese buyers.

A well located office is the very first step towards a China market journey - you need to recruit a team of normarlly local personnel with enough knowledge of your company, products, technologies and good English skills. And they shall have sound background in sales/marketing. These persons shall have good relations with government, industries and sales channel. They shall have enough experiences with local cultures and etiquettes.

While your own employees can get direct contact with possible customers - that's usually done by phone calls, sending promotion materials via mails, faxes, and now emails, visiting some of your friends or friends's friends - but all these proved to be insufficient - you still have to pay for advertisement fees to specialist companies, newspaper, magazines, TV program providers, etc.

You will probably find your expenditure is skyrocketing, but not your sales revenues.

With Internet, you get rid of all these huge spending at time of uncertainty - you just need to pay as little as thousands dollars to gain access to your most valuable clients, while staying away from your concerns over possible failure of your marketing plan.
And how ?

By our online marketing services.

Try to let us design your complete, Internet-alone marketing package. You need zero office space in downtown Shanghai (where per m2 rent is no less than that in N.Y.), and you pay nothing for salesmen. And finally you are away from money-sucking media.

What you pay is the registration costs in major search engines, web directories, industry portals, e-commerce websites, blogs, miniblogs, social sites and the like. And you can publish all kinds of information there, and by various means and channels - you can publish your company news, product info, sales/supply/purchase demand to the aforesaid websites in the Internet. Places like BBS, Newsgroup, Newsletters are all ideal to spread your information - but be careful with netiquette. For small to medium size companies it's the most economical way to tackle the Chinese market. And to further retain and expand your market share, it's equally important.
